Studies in Happiness
The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines happiness as being in a state of contentment and well-being. There are many factors that play into a person’s happiness. One of the many things that affect a person’s happiness is a good night’s sleep. Studies have shown that people who get the recommended 7-8 hours of sleep per night are happier than those who are sleep-deprived. A happy marriage also helps a person be happier. Studies have shown that those who are in a happy marriage are happier than those who are divorced or widowed or have had affairs with Birmingham escorts. They also live longer.
Another major factor that plays into happiness is a person’s health. Those who are healthy are more likely to be happy than those who have an illness or disease. Happiness depends on several factors, but there are many things that a person can do to improve his or her happiness instantly. Some of those things include: being grateful for the little things, learning to say no, getting organized and reducing exposure to negative media.
