The aspect of speaking in English

Pupils doing English KS2 are taught several aspects of speaking. They are mainly taught how to always speak in confidence and adapt their speech for different audiences.

These pupils are taught to use vocabulary in the right way. As much as vocabulary enhances language, it should be used in the right context to be meaningful. Use of syntax will enable the pupils make more complex meaning of their speech.

The pupils are taught the importance of choosing relevant topics when speaking. This enables them to avoid being out of place and also out of topic. A good topic requires relevant material for both the speaker and listeners.
The pupils are taught how to organize speech. They are taught how to make an introduction, have a body and also a conclusion. The conclusions should be meaningful and derived from the body.

The pupils are taught how to be audible and also eloquent in their speech in order to be effective.
